it all begins today...

Ok, so I know that it has been months, well lets say about a half a year since my last post. yes, I know, not ok. I have made a promise to myself, my husband and others that I will be dedicated to updating the family blog. So clearly, much has happened since our last post in December...let me explain (briefly)

Despite all our expectations we had a great Christmas just the two of us, I came home to visit my family in February, we went to California in May, moved back home to St. Louis in May, had our first baby in June, went to Texas in July, Spencer started school in August, and here we are to September. Now, don't worry everyone, I will go into detail about a few of those events since they are pretty significant to us! :) I am happy to be back on my blog and no one worry....I am here to stay.

WAITING FOR SANTA...

We actually put up our decorations the day before Thanksgiving, but thought we could put up a few pics. Its fun decorating the apartment, this is our first Christmas away from home... Well, basically... We couldn't believe how many ornaments we had! We don't really know how we accumulated so many in less than a year. We didn't even put them all up because it was too many. We have a 3rd stocking hanging, but we didn't plan it or buy it specifically for baby. We just got an extra one from someone as a wedding gift. Crazy how fast this year has come and gone. Our anniversary is already in 8 days, can't believe it!

Little people..? Or... Big chairs..?

So we found these chairs at Sam's Club. We look like little kids sitting in them... This was part of our amazingly lazy and enjoyable labor day!

Newest Addition To Our Family

So, this is our newest addition to our family.....our sleeping bags. We are pretty excited about them and will be putting them into good use this weekend! Spencer thought it would be funny to get bundled up in one of them and take pictures. Please don't worry, we will be having some good posts in the future (hopefully).
